Unable to delete directories and view my webpage

Hi Everyone,

I have directories in my account that I am unable to delete via my FTP client. However, I am able to rename the directories and move them.

In addition, I am unable to view my webpage, although my CHMOD is setup correctly both for my public_html folder and index.html

Anyhelp from the moderators of polarhome would be welcome, or even just deleting everything in my account, so that I can start from scratch.
